Salary :-
- Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT): Rs. 24,500-3%-90,000/-
- Technician ‘C’: Rs. 21,500-3%- 82,000/-
Qualification :-
Technician ‘C’:
- SSLC + ITI + one year apprenticeship (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in the relevant trade
- Trades:
- Electronic/Mechanic
- Fitter
- Machinist
Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT):
- 3-year Diploma in Engineering from a recognised Institution in the relevant subject
- Disciplines:
- Electronics
- Mechanical
- Electrical
Age Limit (As on 01 December 2025) :-
- Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT): 28 years
- Technician ‘C’: 28 years
Age Relaxation:
- The upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates and by 03 years and SC/ST candidates by 05 years.
- Candidates belonging to the PwBD category, having 40% disability or more, will get 10 years’ relaxation in addition to the relaxation applicable to the categories mentioned above.

Selection Process :-
- The candidates meeting the qualifying criteria and whose online applications have been accepted will be provisionally shortlisted for the Computer-Based Test to be held at Dehradun & Haldwani only.
- Candidates who meet the qualifying criteria and whose online applications are accepted will be sent an SMS and an email.
- They are required to log on to the BEL website and enter their credentials to access and download their Computer-Based Test Admit Card.
