Qualification –
- Diploma/B.E. in Electrical Engineering
Experience – 1-3 years of power plant experience
Job Description –
- 1. Monitor natural gas based power plant engine electrical equipment such as transformer, motors, switchgear, MCC panels, and control systems.
- 2. Take daily readings of voltage, current, load, and power factor.
- 3. Report abnormalities like overheating, tripping, or unusual noise.
- 4. Assist in preventive and breakdown electrical maintenance.
- 5. Help in cable laying, termination, panel maintenance, and motor testing.
- 6. Support troubleshooting of electrical faults under senior engineers.
- 7. Maintain daily logs of electrical activities and equipment status.
- 8. Ensure safe electrical practices, LOTO procedures, and proper PPE usage.
- 9. Assist in maintaining spares like fuses, relays, cables, and breakers.
