Organization Name :- Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL)

Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) is an Indian public sector undertaking which operates Konkan Railway and also undertakes other railway-related projects. It is wholly owned by the Government of India under the administrative control of the Ministry of Railways and headquartered at CBD Belapur in Navi Mumbai.

Position :- Trainee Apprentices

Job Location :– Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka

Stipend :-

  • Technician Apprentices: Rs. 8,000/- pm
  • Graduate Apprentices: Rs. 9,000/- pm

Qualification :-

  • Category I – Graduate Apprentices (Engineering): BE/BTech from AICTE-recognized university in Civil/ Electrical (or sub-streams)/ Electronics (or sub-streams)/ Mechanical (or sub-streams).
  • Category II – Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: Diploma from recognized board/university in Civil/ Electrical (or sub-streams)/ Electronics (or sub-streams)/ Mechanical (or sub-streams).
  • Category III – Graduate Apprentices (General Stream): BA/BSc/BCom/BBA/BMS/BJMC/BBS from UGC-recognized university.

Total Vacancies :- 190 Posts

  • Civil Engineering – 30 Posts
  • Electrical Engineering – 20 Posts
  • Electronics Engineering – 10 Posts
  • Mechanical Engineering – 20 Posts
  • Diploma (Civil) – 30 Posts
  • Diploma (Electrical) – 20 Posts
  • Diploma (Electronics) – 10 Posts
  • Diploma (Mechanical) – 20 Posts
  • General Stream Graduates – 30 Posts

Age Limit (As on 1 January 2026): 

  • The candidate should have a minimum age of 18 years and a maximum 25 years

  • For SC/ST – 5 years
  • For OBC – 3 Years

Selection Process :-

Selection will be based on:

  1. Merit List: Aggregate percentage of all semesters/years (no rounding, no weightage per semester).
  2. Tie-Breaker: Older age, then earlier matriculation exam pass date.
  3. Shortlisting: 3 times the vacancies called for first round of Document Verification (DV); more if needed.
  4. Final medical fitness by KRCL.
