Airports Authority of India is an aviation company under the ministry of civil aviation, government of India. Directorate general of civil aviation is the Partner organisation. Government of India is responsible for upgrading, creating and maintaining the aviation infrastructure in India.
Positions :- Graduate/Technician/Trade Apprentices
Job Location :- Kolkata
Stipend :-
- Graduate Apprentice : Rs. 15,000/- pm
- Technician Apprentice : Rs. 12,000/- pm
- Trade Apprentice : Rs. 9,000/- pm
Qualification :-
Graduate/Diploma Apprentices:
- Candidates should possess a full-time (regular) four-year degree or a three-year (regular) diploma in Engineering in any of the abovementioned streams, recognised by AICTE, GOI.
ITI Trade Apprentices:
- Candidates should possess an ITI/NCVT certificate of the above-mentioned trades from institutes recognised by AICTE, GOI.
Total Vacancies :-
- Graduate Apprentices: 42 Posts
- Diploma Apprentices: 47 Posts
- ITI/Trade Apprentices: 46 Posts
Duration of Training :- 01 Year
Selection Process :-
- The provisional selection of the candidate shall be made based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Date of birth and there after date of passing will be taken as seniority in case of equal percentage of marks of the candidates.
- CGPA shall be converted into percentage as per the norms of the concerned Educational Board/University.
- The eligible candidate shall be called for document verification at establishment office through registered email -ids only.
- The date, time and venue for document verification shall be intimated to the eligible candidates accordingly.
- The candidates would be required to furnish original documents and submit self-attested copies and soft copies thereof.
- Final selection of the candidates in each seat shall be made after verification of documents and found fit in medical examination. Shortlisted candidates merely attending the document verification process or medical examination does not entitle selection of his candidature as Apprentice with establishment.
- After document verification and obtaining medical fitness certificate the candidates shall be selected for training, based on merit and apprentice engagement letter shall be issued.
- Selected candidates will be posted preferably at the given locations in Eastern Region based on their registration location (in portal).
