Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited NPCIL is a public sector industry which comes into existence in the year 1987. It functioning under the Department of Atomic Energy. The headquarter is located in Mumbai. At present Nuclear Power Corporation has 21 nuclear reactors operation at seven locations. All nuclear power plants working under NPCIL industry is certified by the environmental management system.
Positions :- Trade, Diploma & Graduate Apprentice
Job Location :- Kakrapar, Gujarat
Stipend :-
- Trade Apprentice: Rs. 10,560 (1-year ITI) / 11,040 (2-year ITI)
- Diploma Apprentice: Rs. 10,900/- pm
- Graduate Apprentice: Rs. 12,300/- pm
Qualification :-
- Trade Apprentice: ITI certificate in relevant trade (Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Welder, etc.).
- Technician Apprentice: 3-year Diploma in relevant engineering stream (Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Electronics, etc.).
- Graduate Apprentice: Graduation in relevant engineering/general stream (Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, B.Sc. Physics/Chemistry, HR, Finance, etc.).

- Trade Apprentice: 237 Posts
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentice: 33 Posts
- Graduate Apprentice: 67 Posts
Selection Process :-
The NPCIL Kakrapar Apprentice Selection Process 2026 is merit-based:
- Preference to candidates from neighbouring villages (within 16 km radius)
- Merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained in ITI/Diploma/Graduation
- Tie-breaker: Date of Birth (earlier born higher), then Matriculation marks
- Document Verification + Medical Fitness Examination
