It is engaged mainly in transmission of bulk power across different states of India. It is headquartered in Gurugram. Power Grid transmits about 50% of the total power generated in India on its transmission network.
Positions :- Trade, Diploma & Graduate Apprentice
Job Location :- Across India
Stipend :-
- ITI Apprentices: Rs. 13,500/- per month
- Diploma Apprentices: Rs. 15,000/- per month
- Graduate Apprentices: Rs. 17,500/- per month
Qualification :-
- ITI Apprentice: ITI in Electrician Trade.
- Diploma Apprentice: Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Office Management.
- Graduate Apprentice:
- B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electrical, Civil, Electronics/Telecommunication, or Computer Science/Information Technology.
- MBA (HR) or Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management/Industrial Relations.
- Master’s in Social Work (MSW) or Rural Development/Management (for CSR Executive).
- Graduate Degree with LLB or 5-year Integrated LLB (for Law Executive).
- B.A. (Hindi) with proficiency in English (for Rajbhasha Assistant).
- Bachelor of Mass Communication (BMC) / BJMC (for PR Assistant).

Selection Process :-
- A merit list will be prepared based on the candidates reported for document verification process and found suitable as per the eligibility criteria.
- The candidate shall be engaged in merit order on accepting tri-partite apprenticeship contract on the NATS/NAPS website and submission of a medical certificate in the prescribed format and police verification by the candidates.
