Organization Name :- Border Security Force (BSF)

BSF is the primary border guarding force of India established on 1 December 1965. It is one of the five Central Armed Police Forces by the Union of India. BSF under Union Government and administrative control of the Ministry of Homa Affairs. BSF has been termed as the First Line of Defence of Indian Territories. 

Positions :- Junior Engineer/Sub Inspector

Job Location :- Across India

Salary :-

  • Junior Engineer/Sub Inspector (Electrical): Pay Matrix Level-6 Rs.35400 – 112400/- as per 7th CPC
  • Sub Inspector (Works): Pay Matrix Level-6 Rs.35400 – 112400/- as per 7th CPC

Qualification :-

Junior Engineer/Sub Inspector (Electrical):

  • Pass Three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central or State Government.

Sub Inspector (Works):

  • Pass Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central or State Government.

Total Vacancies :- 

  • Sub Inspector (Works): 13 Posts
  • Junior Engineer/Sub Inspector (Electrical): 09 Posts

Age Limit (As on 15 April 2024) :-

  • Sub Inspector (Works): Not exceeding 30 years
  • Junior Engineer/Sub Inspector (Electrical): Not exceeding 30 years
  • Age Relaxation as per govt. rules
