Position – Proposal Engineer
Job Location – Bengaluru(Horamavu Banaswadi, Horamavu Post, Horamavu Agara, Kammanahalli, HRBR Layout, 1st Block HRBR Layout, Kalyan nagar, Dodda Banaswadi, Kalkere, Rampura, Hennur, Hennur Bande, Hennur Road, Hennur Gardens, Lingarajapuram, Kasturi Nagar, Channasandra, Dooravani Nagar, Indira Nagar, Cox Town, Thippasandra, New Thippasandra, Marathahalli, Mahadevpura, Mahadevapura, Ramamurthy Nagar, ITI Colony, Shivaji Nagar)
Salary – ₹ 2.25-3.5 Lacs P.A
Required candidates Profile –
- Diploma in Any Specialization
- 3-6 years experienced.
- Good Knowledge in Excel, Power Point, Word and other related tools.
- Basic knowledge in use of AutoCAD for electrical design and drawing.
- Undergone basic training in product selection related to Low Voltage (LT) switchgears.
- Strong technical knowledge.
- Basic knowledge of device drivers.
- Multiple switchgear brands like Siemens, ABB, Schneider, Etc.
- Design and sizing of Electrical and PLC control panels and bus bars.
Job Description –
- Determine scope of the project, Specifications, Tender requirements, Consultant requirements and prepare a list of points for arriving the BoM.
- Develop and verify MTOs, equipment and bulk quantities against P&IDs and drawings.
- Design of complete OGA, IGA, BoM as required for proper proposal of the project (optional).
- Communicate and highlight key information of the requirement and take suggestions from respective department members as per company standards.
- Develop multi-discipline concepts, detailed and definitive cost estimates for Company Capital Projects.
- Take ownership of preparing the Estimation and Preliminary Design with respect to the enquiry received.
- Responsible for providing complete quantity take-off, analysis and estimate for all deliverables involved in the assigned scope.
- Support technically in review of design packages and drawings.
- Identify suitable products that meets the required specifications by using online search engines and discussing with vendors.
- Create and maintain standard templates as per company requirement and to ensure fast track submission of proposals.
- Prepare final proposal offers based on the detailed BoM, Scope and estimation.
- Revise and conclude incoming Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Assist in make and buy estimate decision process.
- Assist in cost reduction techniques of standard products by coordinating with the purchase team.
